We almost always have some type of spread ready in the refrigerator. I know this Sunflower Garlic creation doesn’t look like much, but boy, is it ever yummy! I’m totally hooked on the stuff! It also makes amazing Savory Snacks.
- 2 cups sunflower seeds, soaked 8 hours
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (or to taste)
- Tamari or Nama Shoyu, to taste
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
Variation: Add 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill.
